"A Small Price To Pay": Women Take The Mic At The Farmer's Protests

There is no denying that there are many women who have taken the world by storm with their strong opinions and spirited dissent. Throughout the history of the world, there have been multiple protests where women have taken charge and changed the tides. Female protestors may not make the headlines as often, but there have been multiple times that they have shaken up the very foundations of our beliefs.

From the Black Lives Matter Movement in the USA to the anti-CAA protests in India, there have been a lot of women who have left a mark. As the Farmer’s Protest sends reverberations through the national capital, it is important to remember the big hand that women are playing in the demonstration.

There have been multiple strong ladies who have taken charge at the Delhi protest. They are determined to contribute to the cause and help in any way they can, despite the odds.

Here are some of the boss ladies from the protest who brings their fire and fury into the NCR.

If we have learned anything from the iconic Shaheen Bagh demonstration, and now the 2020 Farmer’s Protest, it is that women are forces to be reckoned with!

As one female protestor, Paramjeet Kaur, succinctly rounds it all up, “If Delhi doesn’t listen to Punjab, then we will come and turn Delhi into Punjab!”
